Stainless steel jewelry
Ladyb BentonWhy I chose this metal for my creations
When I started creating Miyuki bead jewelry, I wanted one essential thing: for my creations to be as strong as the journey they represent.
The choice of metal was therefore important. It was natural for me to turn to stainless steel.

Stainless steel: a durable and resistant metal
The stainless steel used in jewelry (often 304 or 316L steel, also called surgical steel) is known for its resistance to water and oxidation.
Unlike other metals:
- It doesn't rust
- It doesn't tarnish
- It resists humidity and perspiration
- It doesn't deform easily
It's a perfect metal for everyday jewelry.
Hypoallergenic and comfortable jewelry
If you have sensitive skin, 316L stainless steel is an excellent option.
It is generally hypoallergenic and well tolerated.
For me, it was important that my jewelry could be worn without constraint, without irritation, simply with pleasure.

Why this choice for Lady B?
My personal story has taught me one thing: when you build something, you want it to last.
Miyuki bead weaving helped me recenter myself, channel my energy, and transform a difficult period into creation. Each piece of jewelry is made with patience, precision, and intention.
Stainless steel became an obvious choice: a solid, reliable, durable metal, reflecting this reconstruction.
How to care for stainless steel jewelry?
Good news: maintenance is simple.
- Clean with lukewarm water and mild soap
- Dry with a clean cloth
- Avoid harsh chemical products
And your jewelry will retain its shine for a long time.
